5 Books: From 1 Star to Five Stars Rating

#shorts
Let’s take a look at why I didn’t like them. (Btw, I have so many books rated with five stars, but for this reel, I had to choose only one)
⭐️: The 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferris
The core message of the book is great, but the way the book is written made me give up on it. Plus, there were some claims that I found to be wrong regarding human psychology and stuff, but mostly, I didn’t like this book because it is filled with pointless pages and paragraphs that add absolutely nothing to the book.
⭐️⭐️: Courage is Calling by Ryan Holiday
I love the topic of courage but was expecting much more from this book. I expected it to be more engaging and detailed, as well as more practical. I would have personally preferred some practical tips on how to cultivate courage and would have appreciated if the author wrote more about instances where he was courageous instead of merely using historical figures.
⭐️⭐️⭐️: To Sell is Human by Daniel H. Pink
Three stars is decent, but it didn’t leave me enlightened. It simply didn’t stick, and most of the things I encountered in this book were familiar to me already. It’s not a bad book, you might like it a lot.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: The Art of Impossibile by Steven Kotler
Great topic, author very knowledgeable and scientific, but too many lists and scientific jargon when it wasn’t needed. The book is great, don’t get me wrong, but at times it would have been better if he had made it slightly less scientific and with more detailed steps on how to achieve peak performance.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Human Kind by Rutger Bregman
Engaging, riveting, stimulating, thought-provoking, clear, and dense. It had all the qualities to be a fantastic book that changed how I see humankind. Highly recommended!!
