Biden’s lead will drop significantly when the topic of marijuana reform issue is discussed. He is out of step with Americans on the issue. The problem is that the media has not been forces to discuss the topic seriously. In previous elections if the issue was mentioned the moderators would ask the cannabis reform question with a smirk on their face. This has become a serious issue that is tied with freedom of choice, prison reform, racial disparities, banking and economics. Since recreational cannabis has become legal in 11 states and medical cannabis in over 30 states. It is time to have it as a serious issue during this debate season and that the cannabis industry starts flexing it’s muscle on the issue. Even if Trump does legalize cannabis to gain young voter approval, his problems are far deeper than cannabis reform.
