Mind Blown! Someone in Bioware is a Stargate Atlantis fan. First Mass Effect series stars a character default named John Shepard. This trailer has another character, the main one in the trailer listening to a Johnny Cash song which was John Shepards favorite musician from Stargate Atlantis.

Seeing Alec studying the ambients, feeling we're set to discover new worlds and make sure that life continues, with not just anybody, but an N7 for company, still makes me shiver and feel hope, that good one, the one that makes you feel you're ready to give your blood and life for. That's a game we never really received. It's strange but I miss Alec more than anyone else. I would gladly accept to play as him, no personalization, just Alec himself. I really can't make jokes about EA anymore. It just hurts so much to know they will probably fuck up what could be a masterpiece (I'm looking at you, Anthem single player I'll never get to experience).
