Also some cats think when you are talking with no one else in the room (even when on the phone) they think you are talking to them. So it may irritate them for you to talk to them without petting them? It seems psycho for you to do such a thing to them?

Also like others say the cat may be hungry. But I also shared how my parent's cat attacks me until I really give her a full facial treatment -- the cat attacks me much less since I have done this

So... when my parent's cat really wants to be pet on the head and given a real treatment, she will lie down and if I pet her anywhere else but her head she will grab my hand, bite it and use her legs to attack my hand but then she will pull my hand to her head.

I finally figured once it seems this might happen, I will really give her a good treatment on her face and she never has attacked me like that. Turns out she SUPER was wanting me to do her face that well.

Side note: when she would attack me she would almost act like she was going psycho even acting like she was going to bite the heck out of my hand but she would barely hurt me. Still it was... ... ... ???

Do you only have one cat? If so maybe get a second cat so your cat has a friend to play with and then your cat will stop attacking you. Bad side you will have two cats to feed and to take care of but at least you might not get nibbled on by your cat. Maybe your cat needs toys to play with or a scratching post
