What should I do if my family doesn't believe in Jesus? I know I should pray, but is there anything else I should do?

I have prayed for my husband for six years to be saved (since I was born again ) and praise God, he gave his life to Jesus just before Christmas in 2020. Since then we have completed the Alpha course together at our church (online) and we are waiting for all covid restrictions to be lifted so he can be baptised. I know of a woman who prayed for her husband for 20 years and he is now saved! If our loved ones are meant to join us in heaven then God will put things in action to make it happen. I made the mistake of pressuring my husband at first and it made my husband more rebellious and deliberately as a result - he was deliberately disregarding everything I said about Jesus. In the end, God told me to take a step back and just lift my husband up to him in prayer. So I did, and it was my husband who approached me and he told me he had been searching and he had come to the conclusion that Jesus is real, and asking advice on what to do next- happy tears.

I have been praying for my children, four grown and with families, my last, 15 years old. They all had accepted Jesus when they were younger. Yet all seem to have walked away. The hurt at possibly not having them in heaven is heavy. On one level there is the desire to be with them because I love them. The more important level is the possibility they might not see and be with Christ. Thank you for the verses to act on. To pray about. Thank you.

My son was raised with love for God. When he got married I was so thrilled she was a Baptist chistian woman. She has convinced my son that going to church is supporting organized religion so he stopped going. I pray that the Holy spirit opens his eyes to the truth and brings him back to the bible and church. He still prays and believes in the triune God but has to defend his Lutheran upbringing to his wife constantly. I will keep praying for them both. Thank you for this message, it really helps.

up in the Word of Jesus.When children grow up they sometimes stray.We pray that they reach out to the reality that

These words are amazing. Praying for people who have strayed or do not believe is not enough - if they are not in the word; they do not KNOW the word. It is our responsibility to make them aware of the amazing God! So even if they don't really want to hear what you have to say, keep talking anyway. If you can reach just one heart, you have made a difference!

Wow I love your to do list. Some I have been praying for 30 years and more. I was one of those women who married an unbeliever, but praise God he came to Christ before he died. Still working on a few family members, so pray for me too.

My entire family my children, my husband. Everyone isn't moving as a unit towards Christ but towards the way of the world. They think I just want my husband to quit his job and us all suffer but that's not it, I'm watching their hearts harden and idk what to do. I pray but I can't get them in the church, they won't hear me. He works way too much and NOONE goes to church we can't even agree on scripture. I resignate with this question. I want desperately for my family to be submitted to Jesus with HIS vision for us.

My children do believe in Jesus and My own Daughter over 7 years ago now excepted Jesus with me over the phone and days later her son and her daughter excepted Jesus. What a Glorious revelation.

For those who truly come to know The LORD through Jesus Christ, it is not pretending, but rather it is a knowing with every fiber of one’s self (with the exception of physical sight) that Christ Jesus is:
• The Way
• The Truth
• The Life

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Everyone of us who comes to this truth realizes that prior to this truth, we were lost.

It is embedded in the Faith, that those who have the Faith, know that those who don’t have the Faith, are lost. And if you have a loved one who is lost, then you would want to help that loved one.

Whether you agree or not, and whether you will be lost, or be found, this comment attempts to answer your question.

The song “Amazing Grace” also may help answer your question as to why someone who has Faith would want others to find it as well.

my kids were brought up in the church and went to Christian schools when we could send them. Now 2 of them don't go to church, they said they had it shoved down their throats. One comes right out and says, she doesn't believe in Jesus and the other is luke warm . Jesus said, "raise a child in the way they should go, and one day they will come back. " Jesus promised this so I hold him to his promise. This is may hope. 
They have seen the politics in the Synod after attending MLS. I know the church isn't perfect and I don't care for a lot of the synod stuff either, but I believe in Jesus and he promised my kids would come back to him. So I hold him to this.

I believe that whatever people believe in is tue. I believe in God and Jesus but if someone believes in Buddhism I believe that he will actually be Reborn. So I'm not really worried about that
