Показать описание
There are now certain parts of Bangkok where life is normal and others which face economic destruction. In this video I take you through Bangrak and Siam, two centrally located areas in downtown Bangkok. After watching this video you'll be able to see the state of these two areas and how they are impacted by the global pandemic.

Another great vlog Pete. I love seeing the nuts & bolts of the city, the rawness & the people that make it what it is.
Wow, that coffee must have been mega sweet with the amount of sugar she put in it. Oh, was the melon seller asleep 555.

Fantastic content.

Great stuff Pete! That's a fabulous area as you saw, Charoen Krung Road is full of sights and stuff to shoot. And even if just walking along there are so many distractions, beats Sukhumvit hands down, and less depressing at the moment.

3:13 You love Bangkok. And the couple behind you demonstrate why many guys love Bangkok. Me included.
Whoever had the contract for supplying balustrades for the Labua State Tower must have made a fortune. :)
You got balls the way you went into that machine shop. They were making various gears on automated machine tools.

I like you. You are a nice friendly guy. :)

If you freeze the picture, at 8:21, you'll see that the machine reads "Cincinnati." The American MidWest from about 1880-1960, made most of the machines in the world that were designed to either make industrial parts or other machines. Extremely well-built and long-lasting. Many developing countries would buy these used machines as the Western World improved automation and integrated computer technology in the manufacturing process.

Fun to see another example in a video. Nice work!

Ah man, thanks for this video. Took me right back to 2018 when I walked around those streets. There is a tattoo parlour called Common Ground where I had some beers and got quite a nice piece of work done LOL

Hey Pete,
My life is boring in lockdown so I watched your clip AGAIN, this time with my wife.

The guy in the cog / sprocket shop was really sweet.

When you said “ pood Thai nid noi / mai dai” he replied that you are better than him as you can speak some Thai and he can speak no English .

He was really keen to show you around too :-)

Awesome
