The Vette just launches better. If Chevy would just tweak with the looks of the Vette a little it could look as menacing as it competitors and be faster at a lower price.

How does the z06 launch that good for a rwd car?? I’d take it over the Huracan evo any day though both cars can clearly do low 10s both impressive for non drag cars

How does a car with a slower quarter mile time have a higher trap speed? What does that indicate? Bad at launching but good at catching up?

In this case is the difference because of AWD vs. RWD?

Wait until the ZR1 comes out with the same engine but twin turbos instead of 670 bhp 460 torque like the Z06 it will be 850 bhp and 850 torque that's plus 180 bhp and 390 torque it's supposed to go 0-60 in 2.1 seconds the Z06 is around 2.6 so the world is on notice the C8 ZR1 will be a rocket ship and no stock car under a million dollars will touch it

The Z06 is 100 kg heavier than the EVO. EVO is also 🫤AWD. The Z06 is also $100k cheaper…..

Based on the technology & hype Chevrolet's out on the Z06, I'd expect it to trap @ 130-132, not 125. Better exhaust? "Competition only" in-car setting on ignition & fuel curve?
