I would like to think of Allah as beneficent and merciful. But when I read Quran 4:56 - "Lo! Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment." - This is not merciful. This is cruel and vindictive.

"Our Lord! let not our hearts deviate after Thou hast guided us and grant us mercy from Thy Presence. for verily thou art the Bestower of bounties without measure. Our Lord! Verily Thou shalt gather mankind for a Day about which there is no doubt. Verily, God never faileth in His promise." as for those who are bent on denying the truth neither their worldly possessions nor their offspring shall in the least avail them against God; and it is they who shall be the fuel for the fire!

If god is the most merciful then how can he be mad or angry? If he is the most merciful then how can he burn his people in hell? If he a divine being then how can he feel anger??

It doesnt seem fair to me that God created a place where there are permanent winners and permanent losers. In the quran it says God does not love certain people and does not guide them and keeps them purposefully in a state of misguidance so that he keeps his promise that he made to Himself to fill up hell with people and devils. He also purposefully misguides certain people and closes their hearts and minds and blocks their eyes and ears so that they can never understand the Quran. These things about God trouble me a lot because he also purposefully takes certain people as enemies of him and intends to burn them in hell forever. There are also other terrifying references to how God has predestined certain people to go to hell even if he has the power to guide them. I dont understand this because God is all powerful and all knowing and cannot be hurt while people are weak and ignorant, so i dont understand being so offended at his creation that he would burn them in hell forever. And what terrifies me the most is that I believe i am one of those unlucky chosen ones to never know true happinness. I hope its not true and i am praying 5 times a day and reading the quran and mentioning gods name and i intend to fast in ramadan and give zakat and go to hajj but i feel that God has closed my heart to ever being able to be a true believer so im hoping someone who does his Islamic duties of prayer and such can enter paradise even if faith has not entered their heart. I constantly ask God to let faith enter my heart, but i have been diagnosed with some mental illnesses like bipolar and schizophrenia and im not sure if my belief that i am of the people of the fire is part of my mental illness or a true state that God has revealed to me

This question I always thought of. I am Muslim and love Dr Ally. One question is before Allah SWT created the creation, what was He was angry off? Then after people have entered paradise and hell?

I have one question tho, That has been on my mind for a while, If allah really is like extremely merciful, Then he could forgive people who committed sins but didn't repent?, And this may depend on the type of person where talking about here, Let's say the person is drinking alcohol, and is a mean person, and he's steals, Then yeah it seems fair allah should punish him for that, But let's say That another person is really nice prayed salah, And tried to be a good person, But let's say he committed a minor sin, Will That Person go to hell?, And ofc there's the idea that allah will punish a type of sinners who didn't repent, but ofc prayed salah, and then after a short time he will put them in paradise, But the person I was talking about, he was nice, Kind, prayed salah, did charity, but committed a minor sin, Will that person get level 1 of hell?, And we all know that the first level of hell is extremely painful for a first level?, This sort of punishment For that type of person seems a littel too harsh for them, Doesn't allah have a different type of punishment that suits them more?, Can someone explain this to me?, excuse my grammar.

If Allah has sent Prophets for people to recognize Allah, then why does Allah have this desire to be recognized? One may argue that if it was to guide mankind, then it could haven’t been only "do good, avoid bad", but it doesn’t. Allah emphasize on being ostentatiously recognized, to the point that Allah will punish people who have helped humanity to the greatest level, but didn’t think about the existence of Allah or God or Anyone to a deeper level, hence died without any belief!

My opinion on this question,
Of course ALLAH is angry and vengeful.And there are several mentions of this in the Quran.That's why we should fear him more and more and Allah loves those who fear him and to them ALLAH is the most forgiving and merciful.

Thank you for the explanation.... I don't think Allah an angry god, I just think he is not a happy god.

Personal experience Everytime I get happy...and say Alhamdulila... A few moments He makes us get accidents, or very sick, or loose family members or something just to stop us from being happy and making it impossible to appreciate his greater wisdom.. so now whenever I say Bismillah I practically raisey my eyebrow and think.... Ya right
How many minutes witl it take before am forces to say Alhamdulila on a matter I would rather ask WHY???
