A Boeing Co. 737 Max 9 aircraft flying for Alaska Airlines lost an auxiliary emergency door shortly after taking off from Portland, Oregon, on Friday night. The jet returned to the airport and nobody was seriously injured. (Source: Elizabeth Le via APTN)

Boeing is hiring people off the streets to work the assembly line. But yet paying 22 million a year for an accountant. Their engineers are fresh out of school and we still question why.

To be clear to anyone confused, it was NOT a random part of the plane. That was called a door plug; the MAX 9 has two options. For planes with more seats, there is an emergency door there, and for those without as many, there's a door plug. It was improperly fitted and many MAX 9s with door plugs have been found with such issues.
