I was lucky enough to have my Dad take me to Rock vs. Hogan. The crowd was so insane that you could feel the building shaking and when I was yelling I couldn’t hear myself.

My favorite match will never get talked about by wwe but WrestleManina 20 was my first Manina watching and watching the triple threat had me so invested and with triple h tapping and the end with Eddie and Chris and jr yelling finally finally was awesome

1. Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker - Pure excellence. Great story, great wrestling, great buildup, just best match (imo) of all time, and I was there!
2. Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs The Rock - this was the first time 2 of the biggest from different generations came head to head and it was just electric.
3. Shawn Michaels vs Ric Flair - another one I was at live! In hindsight easy to say Shawn was gonna win, but at the event live it was so on the edge of your seat, and that final kick *chefs kiss*

I'm not particularly nostalgic for WWE, but my favorite match does relate to my wrestling nostalgia, and screw it I'll tell the whole story to hopefully Pav with the algo.

My Grandma was a diehard NWA fan going back to Florida in the 1958 when she was a kid. And I mean hardcore, she want to every Florida territory she could for decades. My dad is named after Johnny Valentine for instance. She was there in 1974 when Dusty Rhodes turned face and was there when he exploded in popularity. She loved him like most people did. She saw him become NWA champ.

As soon as VHS' became available, she bought one, recorded as much wrestling as she could and started tape trading and ended up with a HUGE collection of old wrestling tapes. She actually went to the first Starrcade in NC and made my dad tape it. She saw Ric Flair beat Harley Race and then proceeded to hate Flair with her entire being after Dusty got screwed.

Now how this relates to WrestleMania, she had a HUGE collection of wrestling tapes cause she bought a VCR as soon as one was available and when I was a kid, we'd watch them together. Listening to her tell stories, or explain what was happening from memory. She really got me into wrestling with her pure knowledge and enthusiasm for it.

She didn't like WWF/E though, and once they started monopolizing the wrestling business she switched to watching WCW... until Hogan showed up in 95 then she stopped. I tried to get her to watch it, but she would just say it wasn't real wrestling and roll her eyes so we'd watch more tapes.

The one match I got her to watch is my favorite: Ric Flair versus Shawn Michaels in 2008, 13 years after she'd stopped watching and she was 62 years old for reference. That was her last new match she watched and god it was emotional. We were both sobbing cause we'd watched a ton of Flair together over the years.
Just visceral nostalgic emotion and sadness as it felt like the last visage of what she'd so loved finally stopped and was gone from the world. That was one of the most intense emotional experiences of my life but to her all those years going back 50 years to 1958, seeing Flair grow into Flair over the years, hating him, watching the business change, the wrestling she loved slowly disappear until eventually Flair was all that remained in the ring. Seeing him tell Shawn to do it, god that match is so good and even though my grandma's gone now I'm glad I have that match and everything it means.

I never told her Ric Flair came back in TNA, like about a year and a half later she was in and out of chemo and I'd go watch her wrestling while she recovered and eventually she just couldn't do it anymore and stopped the chemo. She passed in 2010 and that match is a pretty valuable as a memory to me. Sorry for the novel it took some context to explain.

My favorite match will forever be Bryan vs Triple H. 44 year old Triple H pulls out an incredible performance, and for parts of the match had me convinced they were gonna use him to turn Orton face. He was also the perfect foil to Daniel Bryan

And then there’s everything Daniel Bryan did. The in ring acumen, the selling, the story, the fan’s support, just… flawless

Video idea: Your favorite WrestleMania moment from each WM. So you'd start with WrestleMania 1 and talk about your favorite moment, and keep going like that until 38.

Even the worst WrestleManias, what was the least-bad moment in those XD

I was such a big Rock fan. My favourite all involve him:
Rock Austin 17
Rock Hogan 18
Rock Austin 19

Outside of Rock, the TLC and ladder matches with Hardyz, Dudleys and E&C

Brock v Goldberg was such a slobberknocker (the recent one)

Rock v Cena was great too

Always like ones that included Taker, Angle and Austin as well
