The 2023 Lexus NX 450h+ F-Sport Is The Ultimate Electrified Member Of The NX Family

When you take a look at all the different powertrains available on the 2023 #LexusNX, it ranges greatly from an engine that has 203 HP, all the way to the electrified #LexusNX450h + with the plus meaning this is the first-ever #Lexus with a plug. The #NX450h + with the F-Sport package borrows its #Hybrid powertrain from the Toyota #RAV4Prime, which means nearly 40 miles of EV range, 304 HP, and a 0-60 MPH time in just 5.5 secs. With the #FSport package, the design and handling of the NX is taken to the next level and this is among the best compact luxury SUV's out there with decent EV only range.

Hey everyone and Happy Monday! We've now spent a good amount of time with the NX 350 with its 2.4L turbo engine and now the NX 450h+ with the hybrid drivetrain and we can confidently say, the PHEV is worth the extra charge over the turbo engine. We will be spending a full week with the regular hybrid NX 350h next month and we'll let you know if that model is the perfect compromise between the turbo and PHEV model soon! Which NX powertrain would you personally go with? Let us know below!

NX450h+ owner rights here! I’ve owned a 2022 F-Sport NX450h+ for about a 10 months now. Currently have 15, 000 miles on it. I really love this car and have taken it on long road trips! Everything from the EV range to the driving experience has been amazing! I also just picked up a Tesla Model Y and constantly compare the two. The NX feels and drives better than the Model Y!

Absolutely pleased with this car. 600 miles driven so far and not even thru the full tank of gas the dealer put in. This was with the first week not having a charger and multiple 50+ mile drives to and from the airport. Currently, the mpg is reading 64.4 and a 2.5 m per kwh.

I should've never left Lexus and I'm glad I'm back in one. The quality, fit and finish is bar none. And I think Sofyan, you just have to ease up on the throttle to get decent gas mileage. 😀

That’s a sexy little SUV.

This is kinda of the complete package honestly. Efficient. Quick. Nice sized. I would buy it on its looks alone.

I picked up my '22 450h+ 3 weeks ago and I love it. Non-Fsport, with the other blue. Interesting that your review was much kinder than the '22 review despite the cars being almost identical - I'd say you got the correct take this time! :)

I've had my 450H+ Fsport for 9 months now and love it. Sure its not perfect (pairing our phones with 2 separate users is hit and miss) but the quietness and power is terrific. I find myself driving in electric only mode most of the time. Around town when I am usually below 40 mph, it has ample torque. Range is as advertised.

I've seen people that just fill the tank every 4 months with city driving. Now those are great gas savings.

As the RAV4 Prime mark-up at a unreachable level, this NX450h+ seems to make more sense.

Great review, as usual! I wish you’d start using the provided hooks to hang the charging cap though, most cars have one to hold the tether built into the cover so the paint doesn’t get marred.

I have a 2021 Rav4 Prime that I bought at MSRP for $43K in addition to the $7, 500 tax credit that I qualified for last year. I was considering selling my Prime for this specific vehicle. With the tax credit gone and doing the number crunching with my Lexus dealer that had the vehicle on reserve for me, I passed on it this week. Almost identical performance numbers as my Prime, less MPG in hybrid mode, less EV range, less overall MPGe, less usable overall space, no spare tire in the back, removal of physical buttons in the center dash to control several important features and most importantly, the price difference between the two.

The red int on this one isn’t bad. Sometimes it’s just too much red. The blue really is gorgeous. Autotrader is showing 2022 450h+ at $60-$79k. Man, vehicle are stupid expensive now.
