The 2023 Lexus RX 350h Is A Much Improved Hybrid Luxury SUV

For decades, #Lexus has held the title as the best-selling luxury nameplate in the US and the fully redesigned #LexusRX350h is a new hybrid option for the #LexusRX family. Utilizing the same 2.5L gas engine with 3-electric motors as the NX 350h, this new #RX350h offers the best of both worlds with nearly 250 HP, standard AWD, and up to 37 MPG in the city. While the new turbocharged #LexusRX350 may end up being the volume seller, we suspect a lot of buyers will be gravitating toward the electrified version, especially if the pricing is similar.

Happy Friday everyone! We managed to shoot 2 separate videos and combined the RX350 (turbo) and RX350h (hybrid) powertrains into this video! Be sure to also watch our second review on the RX500h and RX450h+ as well! After driving all four variants of the new RX, we feel this RX350h hybrid powertrain will be the sweet spot for most RX buyers! Lexus really knocked it out of the park with this generation.

The “push” button is to raise the forward most cup holder back up to normal height. If you push the bottom of that cup holder down, it will provide a deeper cup holder for larger bottles

I love my old v6 but decided to try the new rx350h and took a few weeks to get used to. I got the luxury package and love it!

Funny how 95% of these people who will never own these cars are bashing it. Interior and exterior are mostly preference as they all have more or less the same technology. Although Lexus is owned by Toyota it’s far from being the same vehicle, much like how Audi is just a Volkswagen. P.s I own a BMW m3 and a Toyota 4Runner so I’m not subjective. Can’t afford it? Move on.

My wife and I JUST returned from our local Lexus dealer, so the interior is very fresh in my mind. We are considering the 2022 RX 450h. Upon viewing this I consider the interior of the 2023 to be a downgrade in some regards compared to the 2022 due to the lack of buttons for commonly used items, abandoning them to screens. Ugh. In other ways, some nice upgrades, the cameras are better, that's good. Backseat accommodations, definitely nicer.
As far as drivetrains are concerned, the V6 is the clear winner and I don't understand why Lexus abandoned the buttery smooth V6 for a thrashy 4 cylinder, and ultimately that's what has steered me away from a 2023, looking for one of the last V6 hybrids in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

Love an RX. Not sure about the looks but it’s bound to be an awesome SUV, regardless.

Just had the Rx gas turbo as a loaner. Very impressive. I got 32 mpg highway.

this day and age of Tesla, cars are no longer a “show off” commodity. It is just like a smart phone - you have to be comfortably using it as utilitarian needs - no longer term “Luxury” applies to it anymore. And Lexus & Toyota simply nailed it - simple, reliable, comfortable, and most of all quality all over it.

2:48 I did not like the original hourglass grill, but I think this blending of design element from the engine hood into the front grill is actually unique and creative: it looks good.👍

I'm on my third RX- first Hybrid. My 2011 runs perfectly, but I'm still going to get the new model! Great review.

I am glad they retained the front side triangular mini window from the original RX300. Hope to get this soonest.

The interior is nice, but I expected more from Lexus. What I do like is how Lexus give u options on engines. Awsome review as always!!!

Have a Good New Year! BTW, I prefer the New Painted Front Facia, especially the grill. Everything seems to blend in nicely and cohesively!!

In Puerto Rico...we have electricity problems so regular hybrids is just perfect.

I’m a huge RX fan but going all EV for me. Going with model Y Performance.

My hunch is Lexus makes more money with the turbo engine model. And that's why they push for it.

I love how you’re about that key fob life. I say the same thing. I don’t like when they keep the same fob for years and years…….and years!
