National Centre for Family Hubs conference: panel two - integration, equity and inclusion
Показать описание
The panel discussed their answers to the question ‘how can greater equity and inclusion be achieved through integration.’ The panel highlighted the disparity in child and infant mortality rates when comparing more deprived areas to areas of higher wealth. The new normal following the COVID-19 pandemic was also discussed in relation to more partnership working between local authorities and their faith communities, as well as a commitment to a more inclusive framework for partnership working. We hear about the important role of Integrated Care Systems in delivering empowering and accessible services, and how Portsmouth have moved towards a more integrated way of working, providing practical examples and insights. Finally, we hear from Westminster’s Family Hub Manager, on the inequality within Westminster, and the impact the integrated family hub services make to families in this area.
