LEGO Sent Me A VIDIYO Box Early - RAW Reactions to the Theme

Today, I'm sharing with you all my unboxing of a box LEGO sent me with VIDIYO products inside. This was sent to me over a month ago - long before we even saw leaks so here's my raw reaction!

Wow these minifigures look really cool! I'm pretty excited about this theme! What I don't like is how you can't try to feel for which minifigure you are getting.

Am I the only one digging all the crazy new head molds for these guys! I’ll have to pick up a couple of those cmfs.

Not gonna lie, this theme looks quite cool tbh. Especially when it comes to the wackiness of the Minifigures.

they're switching to boxes because when their packs you can feel the figure inside :/

Wow, I really hope this box packaging is not going to be the norm for other CMFs. There are many times when I want only a certain figure from a series and it’s going to be very annoying that you can’t feel for them anymore.

This theme is making me want to build a giant Lego Modular Record store like the 3 level HMV from down town Toronto or Aomeba in LA

It's cool that lego made the packaging with poster paper/card stock than using plastic

If these boxes are the future of CMF, I'm buying minifigs off Bricklink. Can't afford to keep opening doubles to get what I want. This theme is cool though

"That's gonna be a pain getting the complete set" OR ANY SPECIFIC FIGS YOU WANT.
Blind stuff you can't feel for is practically gambling, and this theme is very heavily aimed at kids, which makes it even worse. Feeling can still be a little risky, but at least then you're making a "bet" based on your own skill with feeling for things instead of raw luck.

Yes! these are cool. On ONE try, i bought one boxed Vidyo fig, wanting the orange one-eyed alien with the key-tar, and I got it! WHOAH .. i wish my luck with Lotto tickets was like that:) Thanks for your video !

Wow I feel bad for you for getting the same minifig twice but apart from that problem I think this theme has a lot of potential to be good.
Btw I know this is just one of those experiments LEGO does almost 2 to 3 years.

If they stop using bags for the future CMFs then I'm quitting Lego. CMFs were affordable for me to collect, and the fact that I could feel the bags was my only skill. I wasn't intending to get many of these anyway but if if they stop the bags in future then I'm quitting, or at least taking a long break.
