About that suspension bridge.

In grade school, (third grade) I had to make a
model, of a suspension bridge. I chose LEGO
bricks as my medium. (I'm 63 now.) I did not
have much flexibility, because LEGO sets, back
then, were REAL limited, as far as non "buildings"
LEGOs. Yes, there were some gears, and wheels.

I just imagine, had I had Technics, back then.

Was not all that big, about 1.5 feet long roadbed,
and 10 inch towers. The main cables were string,
and the suspender cables were strong thread.

I think lego is different from any other toy. its a toy that has built my childhood and millions of others too. it brings out the creativity in anyone weather they are city builders or lord of the rings fans. the fact that anyone can pick up a hand full of bricks and let their imagination run wild is truly astounding. it is always fun to look back and see how far we have come as a community. so next time you are feeling down or even just bord, try picking up a hand full of bricks of your own and just build.

The star wars clone one really impressed me the first time I saw it because if one slipped off it would all fall down like dominos (and that's a pain). Great video!
