Wait how did you identify the pre-cancer on seemingly smooth perfect skin?? What did it look like?
Edit: could you please let us know so we know what to look out for as well? Thank you!!

Does ANYONE think about cancer or any skin cancer as a child, when you're out in the sun and water? I sure didn't!

Now I’m terrified because I’ve had a few burns in my 25 years of living lmao

Listen, I’m terrified. I forgot my sunscreen at home the other day & I ran to Dollar Tree for a fragrance-free tube. Sun protection at all costs.

I’m terrified. I was dumb. I wised up and started using sunscreen but earlier in life I was a sun worshipperrrr and I’m fair with freckles. I went to many dermatologist appointments for skin checks but purely due to no insurance (my husband has been out of work except for about two months since pandemic between pandemic and getting hurt) we are buried under bills I don’t have any money whilst working overtime for a dermatologist appt and I am so so scared that I may have skin cancer!! I have Medicaid as a secondary but so far it has been absolutely no help to me whatsoever.. with any of my healthcare I have not tried hard for dermatology but wondering if anyone knows like can I go to my regular doctor for a skin check? I have to go anyway for a reoccuring UTI (literally weekly and keeps turning into kidney infections) whilst waiting to get in with a urologist so I’m already paying her.. I don’t know. I’m horrible with insurance stuff if anyone knows a way to get your skin checked for a fair price please let me know. Or free. I’ve never been so down and out in my life. Not afraid to admit that. And I need help. Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read this

Fr I am so posed at my younger self for needing to obsessively burn and tan every time the sun made an appearance, and being too pale to be pretty, bc now after having passed 30 and having 3 kids the damage shows and it is wild.

😮😟Fair skin is prone to get cancer easily under high sun radiation.

Soooo I have a heat allergy and probably only had 2 sun burns in my entire life. I break out in hives if my body gets to hot. So I dont got outside often. My family never used sunscreen but I have been using it since I was 16. I keep my kids in sunscreen and we do evening swims instead of swimming during the day. Im so cautious while my niece and nephews are always outside and burnt when i see them. 😢

If i could find a sunscreen that’s truly opaque and invisible yes i would, everyday.
Wearing sunscreen is not possible in certain places of work, you’re not taken seriously.

I don’t understand why companies don’t make them, i imagine that there is a huge group of people like me would like to wear them but just can’t find one appropriate. They either are too greasy or leave a white cast.

Can we pls get a sunscreen recommendation for acne-prone skin? Everything I try ruins my skin even more 😓

This is different for different skin tones because it's the burning that affects it not the rans. Taning beds are horrible though
