Cabin Boy is my favorite Chris Elliot film. I own it on DVD and watch it a couple times every year. I wish he would do a sequel, but it is okay.

I always loved when Chris would appear in Dave's shows back in the 80s. He usually seemed a bit crazy, but was always funny.

Underrated comic, I can’t believe he’s over 60 now!

Shocked that no mention was made, or any posts, unless I overlooked one, of his nailing that Peter McDougall part on Everybody Loves Raymond. He was really funny in that part, and a far out type hippy like character. He gave Robert Barone (Brad Garrett) fits, trying to keep him from marrying his sister, Amy (Monica Horan), real life wife of ELR producer Phil Rosenthal.

The one positive aspect of being bald from an early age is that you simply don't age. This guy could do re-takes of shots in Groundhog Day, today, cut them into the film, and you wouldn't notice a thing.

3:00 I noticed that when people talk about dogs (I'm not a god person), that's when they are the truest. No facade, no joking, just "what they say is what they think." 'dad' was a great answer. That's why some peoples worship their ancestors.

Chris's comedic genius never really clicked without Letterman as his comedic foil--they were an incredible comedy team.
