Not sure about sending the foam through the air vent path. You are always safer (with the cabin air filter removed) sending the foam cleaner up the evaporator drain hose (under the car) because this will not only clean the drain hose but the foam will hit the heater core directly from the bottom to the top of the core enclosure. Doing it through the air vents is backwards and the foam collects/expands before it even gets to the core. The foam should be sent up the drain tube in two cycles... half can, wait for core to drain then the last half of the can. Wait several minutes for the system to drain. Then start car up, air speed to max and AC to off and directed air flow to the floor, then spray deodorizer/sanitizer (like Lysol) in the under-the-hood (close to the wipers/windshield) cabin air vent (you should be able to smell the cleaner in the car at this point) change air flow to defrost and spray again. Finally change air flow to both defrost and floor and spray again. Let car run for 5-10 minutes, re-install cabin air filter and you should be all set.

I thought the vents inside the car are the air outlets. Conversely, standing outside the car, the grating under the front window would be the air inlet. I recall in other vids you have shown how to remove the plastic to better remove decaying leaves and seeds etc. (for a friendly beer or two from customers I recall 😃). So I would have thought removing the plastic grating again, clearing out the leaves, and then inserting the 30cm tube into where ever the air then goes in its merry way into the AC system would likely be the way to go. This would perhaps be easier too, and do two jobs at the same time! Love your work Anthony. Thank you!

Best instructions I saw and used with same product from CRC that you have there Anthony and for my Dmax but product instructions from another company was remove cabin filter and replace the filter housing lid then to drill a 4.5mm hole in the duct work between blower and evaporator. Insert the tube of can towards evaporator. AC switched on and engine running fresh air intake. Fan on high and short bursts of can and change air flow direction so all duct work gets a dose. Short bursts until can empty. Turn off ac and engine. Let it sit and drain for 15 minutes. Start motor and turn on ac again and let it run for 15 minutes to let drier do its thing and drain under vehicle stops dripping. Put a new cabin filter in. Job done. Screw in a short screw into hole of duct you made and there is your port for next time.

I would suggest next time and this is what i do.
1. Remove glove box door.
2. Remove cabin air filter.
3. Remove ac fan 3 screws and remove the fan.
No you have access to the large duct that goes to the evap.
Spray the CRC into duct via the tube that came with the CRC until you see the foam and stop.
Now spray the inner two vents until you see foam.
Now under the car and spray up the drain hole.
If you have any product left spray the other vents to freshen, wait 1 hour. Reinstall the fan.
Take the car for a drive WITHOUT the ac fan ON and recirculate off, windows open, when car reaches operating temperature come back park in driveway open all doors put the ac on max, fan on max, temperature on 25 degrees C car on idle, bonnet open and let it idle for 20 minutes.
AC off temperature on 32 degrees C and give it another 15 min or drive it with the windows down.
If the next day the glass is wet on the inside windscreen the you need to do the drying process again.

You will notice that the fan is shaped like a dome and has a drain, so don’t worry about any liquid it won't reach the motor and give it a clean while it's out.
Thanks

Air comes in through the duct on the lower windshield, must switch from circulation mode to ambient outside air mode.

I turned the air con on flat out, punctured a can of glen 20 and tossed it on the passenger floor then closed the door. Worked a treat.

I had ants block my drain tube. Drove from Goldy to Albury with a soaking floor then no a/c as the flooding was getting serious! 2 mins and a piece of wire fixed it!

Good on you Mate. A New Zealander would have done in half the time

Did this result in more air coming through the vents?

Hi Mate, did you turn on AC and set the temperature to the highest?

I got told to shove the line up the drain from underneath and fill it from there. Can't remember which product that was though. Not sure how much this one foams so it might not work like that.

I used my steamcleaner to flush the system, it helps

CRC Industries Australia will the fan in the inlet under the cabin filter will be fine after you fill the box in it with foam?? Like it won’t get damage from the foam when it turn to Liquid ??

Glen 20 will sort out the stench. Spray it in the vents and where the cabin filter fits

"I’m an expert, so I can so this"…. If it’s only for "experts" then why does Supercheap auto sell it to the public? ? 😂

Toyota currently charge $99 for an aircon clean. Im guessing a similar product? I usually take out the cabin filter and spray fabreeze on it!
