As a teacher, I have experienced this. It is not fun to be hit on by students. This clip does a great job depicting what young teachers and professors go through and provides a great way to handle it.

I found this introduction to the concept of power extremely interesting, unlike the 1430 viewers who watched and didn't give it a "thumbs up". As a student of the liberty movement, especially from the "Magna Carta" period thru today, I am fascinated by the centuries of incremental progress toward a more humane, rational, political system. We have that period, mainly in the UK, to thank for the "The Declaration of Independence", specifically the sovereign citizen concept. A small group known as "The Levelers" suffered greatly to gain acceptance for the legal procedures we take for granted today, e.g., "innocent until proven guilty". The Renaissance was truly a time of movement away from the master/slave, ruler/ruled, aristocracy/serf politics.

What's absolutely hilarious about this scene is shes dressed In a stereo typical sexy teacher outfit glasses and all and in no other scene in the entire series before or after does she wear glasses or dress like this lmao

Excerpt she speaks of is mistranslated and taken out of context. This is from a letter back to Spain at first contact explaining how some natives are being taught to speak Spanish to be brought back to Spain to speak with that can return hoke if they so want.
The part about subjugation is about why there's no need to built any defences. He's framing it that the 50 men are all that would be needed to control things, not that they are in control.

There is no mention is slaves, this was from first contact.

The irony of all this is that she is insulting people of truly indigenous or aboriginal descent because she lied that she is their descendant to get the role in the series🤷🏻‍♀️

"european mentality" - maybe the teacher should learn something about America's natives, especially about their beliefs - leaders as incarnations of gods, human sacrificies etc ;)
