Riot has lost the plot with what potentially could have been BEST "lore skin" line. When they redesigned Victorious after Lucian's season the goal of each Victorious skin going forward was to capture the champion AT THEIR APEX in their story, a what-if scenario if they win LoL's story and achieve their aspirations. Lucian unlocking the secrets of the Sentinels and looking into the blazing Light chasing vengeance against Thresh, Blitzcrank bridging Piltover and Zaun by becoming a hero like their creator wanted for them, Sejuani breaking the Avarosans and Frostguard and receiving supplications from the other tribes while sitting on seems to be an interpretation of Lissandra's throne room. These skins were fucking exciting. There is nothing in this skin suggesting Yi is a Wuju Master, nothing that calls on Ionia's themes or aesthetic, nothing incorporating themes of Yi wanting to live in peace and move on from the war that took so much from him because of his own arrogance. This is just Mobile Legends garbage.

This skin is fucking garbage, outside of aesthetic nor the neglible impact Yi had on the game this year. Victorious skins evolved from "blue champions with a crown" to something cool and unique with Lucian, Blitzcrank (the fucking GOAT of the skinline) and Sejuani and now we're back to that but with a weid purple-bronze color scheme borrowing from Prestige fashion skins taht doesn't even look good and says NOTHING about the champions. Kog'Maw sucked, Sona sucked Anivia was like passable because she's a fucking block of ice and they gave her armor at least. So disappointing and I've never been more pleased to be an unranked scrub. /rant

Remember when Victorious skin was chosen to a champion that was meta-defining during that season or had big impact in proplay? Wasnt Master Yi pretty much outclassed by Bel´Veth since her release and needed to be buffed like 5 times already? Why he is the one that gets it?

I main Yi from like 2015-2016, i always wished for a victorious Yi, the base skin and all the chromas are bad besides the challenger chroma which has the exact color scheme as old victorious skins, that one looks mint

TBH I like it. People complaining just to complain these days. Then you show them stuff like Victorious Sivir and they love it all because of Nostalgia

I adore him, he's perfect. His armor reminds me a lot of the one he has in Legends of Runeterra.
