They showed the behind the scenes footage of the water crashing through the glass, and I was impressed that it was practical. It looked fake to me.

It made me think back to the days when people would watch a scene with CGI, and they’d say, “I thought that was real!” Now, I find more people being shocked when something is not CGI.

Isn’t it great when you watch young YouTubers reacting to explosions in movies from the 80s & 90s, and they’re all like, “WOOOOW! IT LOOKS SO REAL!”

Star Wars is the story of a young boy who thinks his dad died in the war. Turns out, his dad had secrets, and was actually corrupted by an evil force. The boy then sets a path to grow into a man, so he can redeem his fallen father and hopefully restore him to goodness. It took three movies to tell that story. That IS the plot of Star Wars.

No Luke? No story. Period. Luke and Vader are character. Luke saving his dad is the plot. The "star wars" in the title is the setting. Redemption is the theme. Vader sacrifices his life to reject evil and save his son... that's the action.

It's why Star Wars is so lost right now. Kennedy never knew the story from a writer's perspective.

the best shows you have right now in order from best to worst in my humble opinion(I don't list things I haven't seen)

Mando, Visions, Tales of the Jedi, Ahsoka, Andor and last but certainly not least, bad batch. I watched all of these because they interested me, I just wish andor got more love, maybe it did but I saw at least one video saying how it was "too realistic" or something along those lines. I loved andor, thank you for that (probably temporary) series.
