We would not have expected to find such a huge temple city one more time but the temples around Chidambaram are really impressive. First we had a great breakfast at a really clean place near the temple area and as we were approaching the place I got more and more worried that I will not be allowed to film but it turned out that I did not have to worry, it was no problem going in holding a camera even though some regular people in the street told me that I will not be able to film and could not enter wearing those shorts anyway. Ha, this was not the case, the temple workers had nothing against me entering and openly filming which really surprised me. Well, expect for the core with the main deities where it is not even allowed to bring a phone. But anyway, please do check out this video.

Welcome to India 🇮🇳 India is known for its sprituality and culture, we Indians are very much abundant in these two aspects, so i request you to do more of temple vlogs show the different architecture, I'll assure you, you will be amazed to see that, if you want to enter near the sanctum make sure you go in the ideal attire of that temple, definitely nobody is going to stop you if you are in that tradtional attire, the ancient scriptures and artefacts has a lot to convey, ancient Indians were so brilliant and far more advanced, do check out those scriptures and the inscriptions apparently you will find more of those in southern India especially in tamil nadu since TN has highest number of Hindu temples in whole of India, so again enjoy your journey in India 🇮🇳

I visited Chidambaram Temple some forty years back.Back then I found this temple one of the finest calm and quiet prilgrimage centre of India.I still cherish the memory of that coconut tree covered small town and the beautiful temple.

You can buy a lungi/sarong and have it in your backpack. The simplest model, just to wrap around your waist. Doesn't take much place and you could use it in the future.
