Since UV light cannot be seen by naked eyes, it doesn't matter if a mosquito trap uses real or fake UV led, they all display in blue-purple color.

Many LED traps use cheap blue-purple colored LED, not true UV 368nm.

Surely the whole point is whether or not it does the job. I bought the supposed real one this video recommended. And it was absolute total shit. Thing barely worked. I bought the Purei one out of curiosity and it worked so much better.

So my advice? Buy the fake. Lol.

Why do you have to open the thing just to measure the wavelength? If the UV light doesn't escape from the unopened case, it won't attract any mosquitos either 😂

Like the UV spectrum tests, but that only verifies which one is likely to attract the most mosquitoes to the trap, All the zapper will kill the bugs that fly into them, All of them are "real" bug killers, but only one had the 368nm light

I hope everyone know why UVA is used in bug lamps? It is not to be disturbing people by blinding. Bugs are always attracted to any powerful light source - except red light. Red light scares some bugs - like fire.

A very misleading video!
Being a different light frequently doesn’t make the trap a fake. The slight difference in the light could be slightly less of a lure for the insects, but the traps will still work for the mosquitoes that are drawn to it.

I got one LED, actually is a super LED for parties and i can make sure its real, in the party that 100w LED bar attracted so many types of bugs i needed to turn that off.

it does not even matter if its real UV light or not. all of those attract the mosquito by the light not because it is UV but they use blue or purple light because it is not distracting to use at nigh time in dark places and it will not keep you awake with a bright light but bugs still get attracted to them from the light and the fan is what kills them by sucking them and drying them up inside the container, that is why they are always in places where there is light like when you see them bumping into the tv or your cell phone in a dark room, and if the light is all over and nothing like a light to attract them they fallow the co2 smell from out bodies.

so does fly trap machines are all fake missing in only one of them that have positive real for people to buy so if I go and look for that one you test it on eBay is going to be real to buy I don't understand why they stock it eBay and Amazon.
