Most people looking at reviews on lights, most want to get an idea of how it lights a space ~ only using close up shots of the lantern, gives absolutely no idea of how it performs! You are wasting both our time

Was skeptical at first about it's tiny size and lack of brightness options, especially on the flashlights, only one setting. I have to say, this little bugger packs a punch. Will test it in true nightfall, and have to see how long the battery lasts on a charge, but so far, pretty impressed. I think the only cons are, no magnetic base, can't be used to charge devices, and can't hang the flashlights. Got some weight to it too, good stiff wind to knock it over. Over all great, bright little light

How many lumens is it on the low setting? And does it really last 200 hours on low?

I bought one 3 months ago because we get frequent power outages. Three months later I've just done a test switch on and the lamp is still very bright. But I've put it on charge just to keep the battery topped up. I plan to repeat this every 3 months. What I don't know is whether the charging LED goes out when it's fully charged and the (pretty useless) user guide doesn't say. Great purchase, though!

The Amazon entry says it's dimmable - is that true?

they make rechargeable D cells batteries and last way longer then the average d cell.

The review is good but why rechargeable? Out in the wilds it will only last for 1 charge then nothing. With packs of separate rechargeable batteries you could swap them immediately.
With a bumper pack of separate non-rechargeable Lithium batteries with a shelf life of 20 years you could forget about it in the boot and never find it depleted in an emergency and it would go for weeks.
