Get rid of Qualified Immunity, and let the funds come directly out of the police department's budget when they are sued and won. I bet you'll see a policy change really fast.

Mayor Adams is correct. The bar is so low to become a police officer. When you have a profession that just anyone can get into, then that profession ends up in the situation that police departments are in.

He seems more like a desk cop than a street cop

We all need police and other authorities to be intelligent and have respect and common sense when dealing with the citizens in any situation... instead of assuming and accusing any non-cop of being a criminal and a possible threat.. or a municipal employee preventing people from getting information and calling cops to get rid of them... the problem with those ideas is management whether police or politicians want mindless puppets who are easily trained to crush rights and freedoms, lie about rules and laws, and abuse their power.

Eric was never a street cop - nightshift guy. He's polished and promoted - but not experienced in the grind of real crime.

Help explain to people how city workers: police, corrections, EMTs, etc have obstructed or defaced license plates, but everyone should be paying tolls.

For history month notice he says we are implementing two rules: one for civilians to comply and one for police non immunity.

Nationwide. Standard procedures. Frequent training. Mental evaluation for cognitive ability. Racism. National list of those who fail. No job with any authority.

Cop arrests woman lawyer (YT vid btw) she provides ID but just does not answer his questions. He arrests her for not answering, for remaining silent in her car. What was the first thing the cop said when he put her in cuffs under arrest ??? wait for
"You have the right to remain silent....". Basic aptitude, he did not have it.

get rid of bad cops and change this letting them get away mentality when cops get write ups and many complaints .these cops see there's no punishment and that creates a mindset that mean im a God I can do what I want ... when a cop messes up he or she should be punished to the fullest extstent of the law like every one else.. breaking the law should not change because someone has a uniform on... police should have the highest moral regard and not be brutes or disrespectful to people .... many times they Create more problems and not solved them ... there are good police who do right yet these bad corrupt John Wayne syndrome police tarnish trust in law enforcement .. yet this is a higher up issue.. racism is a mindset that is in the higher ups agenda oppress people of color and look at them as animals and black cops and latin cops and cops period are forced to see this as a reality become part of the mindset and have to fit in or they are casted out
