'Major announcement' by FBI, MI5 about threat of China

Sky News host Paul Murray says there was a “major announcement today” from the FBI and MI5.

“They have come forward to say to the Western world about how big a threat China poses to world order,” he said.

“You may not think that this is breaking news but this is as big a news as you can get - when the intelligence organisations are willing to go public at a time when China has never felt more bolshy."

The difference is that Chinese people are being surveillanced only by their government. However, the western countries until now ware doing the same only through private companies, but after the "worst pandemia" they are starting to be more direct through passports, applications, etc. So, in the west people are being checked twice.

What I find concerning for the West is that Russia and China seem very unified as nations.

The West on the other hand don't, bickering and squabbling amongst themselves in all stratum's of society, all the way to the highest levels of government where their leaders are forced to hang up the hat. Maybe that's a luxury we in the West should all appreciate as we live in modern day progressive societies.

I like progressive societies, most people enjoy the freedoms the West provides, refugees flock to them by the boat load. Unfortunately this isn't across the board on a global scale and when you have countries like Russia, China, North Korea who interpret this as a weakness, they sense blood in the water.
