I wanted to live 6 months in US ( I'm an American) and 6 months in Norway. It doesnt look promising, Im not going to be a student, and not marrying a Norwegian . I have no problem learning to speak Norwegian. I can speak French ( its been awhile though). I dont understand why Norway has to make it so difficult. I was planing on buying a home in northern Norway for cash no mortgage. Ill have to look for another option.
