Just got mine and doing my first project, thanks for tutorial. I do have a Cricut Maker and the engraving tool, but, you can't fill in designson the Cricut Design Space for drawing and engraving. Brother are really missing a trick here.

Im zoom engraving 3mm acrylic blanks to make icing stamps using the SDX2250D. Ideally I need a nice deep cut (maybe 1 to 1.5mm). Any ideas on how to achieve this? as unfortunately, quite literally, im still just scratching the surface! Can't get more than a shallow etching after tons of passes on max draw pressure. Any advice is welcomed. thanks.

Have you used this tool with leather? I am thinking about making leather labels that could be sewn into a bag or attached to the exterior. Any suggestions or video available? Or is it a bad idea?
