LUBE SHUTTLE The Best Grease Gun EVER!!!

I've never liked greasing equipment, and it's mostly because of the problems associated with the traditional grease guns. Anytime you have to change the cartridges it's always a tremendously messy job. You have to pull a plunger with a heavy spring back and click it into the open position, hoping it doesn't come loose and mash a finger then you unscrew both ends and try to fish out the nasty empty paper grease tube. Then load up a new one and release the plunger hoping to get any air bubbles out of the system, then screw it back together, and finish greasing. Then, you hang it on a wall and it oozes grease for two months, making a nice slick spot on the floor. It's not the best design.

I was contacted last summer by a company who is bringing a new innovation in grease guns to the U.S. market and they wanted me to evaluate it. It's called the Lube Shuttle, and the cartridges screw in, there's no plunger. When I opened the one they sent me, I thought, "If this works well, this is a game changer for greasing equipment." I used it all last summer and over the winter and I will NEVER go back to a traditional grease gun. Lube Shuttle has won me over.

The Lube Shuttle system comes from Germany. The plunger pressure on the pistol grip is 4300 lbs, (the Lever Lube Shuttle has 5800 lbs) so it will draw the grease out of the threaded tube and put it exactly where it needs to go. When the tube is empty (and there's not a mass of wasted grease like in the paper canisters), unscrew the old tube and recycle it (yes, it is recyclable), push a little grease out the top of the new tube with the plunger on the bottom and screw it in and your ready to grease again. No mess and no hassle.

I put off getting one of these lubr shuttles for about 2 years before I finally did. The old grease guns drove me crazy! This invention is super, I look forward to greasing now, what a wonderful product everybody should get one. I would have gotten one sooner but I thought it was kind of expensive and I'm retired but it was so worth it!

I've just switched to this method of greasing here in the UK, won't go back to old style!
Here in UK we are paying a slight premium for these tubes but I'm convinced it's the way forward
John Deere now supplies it's grease in a lube shuttle option, which I use, not seen too many other brands just yet but I think if someone pushed this idea, this would change
I've threw many rubbish grease guns straight in the bin before, drive you mad

We picked up a Milwaukee M18 cordless grease gun and never looked back. Much much faster and has 10, 000psi working pressure so it'll clear out those clogged fitting too. I spend less than half the amount of time greasing stuff now, which is important to me when I've got 100 acres of hay to mow and my mower and tractor need to be greased before I can start...

I use a dewalt 20 volt grease gun with a lock and lube tip. I love it. Battery last about 3 tubes worth. Sure it is costly but it sure does a great job and saves time.

This product is really a gold mine just waiting to be tapped by the US market on a grand scale. I think Tractor Supply Company would be an excellent initial distributor of the product. If you can get a few trial stores on board I think it would more than prove it’s self. I recommend launching it in the Deep South first, such as Louisiana where the rain and humidity make grease an absolute necessity. The packaging will need a bit of updating first. The product requires some education as most Americans have never seen this thing. Put some eye popping pictures on the box with a YouTube link for people to scan.

Mike, approach Tractor Supply Co (TSC) regarding the Lube Shuttle grease gun. Here in Michigan there are TSC stores everywhere and they are a mainstay for farmers and tractor owners.

I just bought the LockNLube couplers for my grease guns. Pretty sweet product if you haven't used one. I put one on my Dewalt cordless grease gun and i actually enjoy greasing equipment now.

Were able to get any distributors lined up. I think one of the issues could be the grease quality...even if it is high quality grease there is no name recognition.

Looks like a great product! And the cost will pay for itself in saved grease and aggravation ! Try Rural King and Tractor Supply! Also all the county Co-ops! I could see it getting the attention of auto parts stores! If the grease cartridges are plentiful or can be reloaded the sky is the limit!

One of the most entertaining things I ever watched was 5 aircraft mechanics try to load a grease gun with bulk grease. FYI, did you know that if the plunger catch releases prematurely it will launch a blob of grease almost 30 feet straight up?
