Tricky Seal Rescue

It’s frustrating to spot an entangled seal and lose track of it in a crowd of identical seals. That feeling of knowing there’s an entangled seal, but you just can’t see it. We fortunately managed to spot the seal again and conduct the rescue. Although the entanglement was in a bad spot, the seal remained calm and the rescue was completed sooner than expected.

Entanglement through the mouth area always mean extra caution from the rescuers. While rescues are normal for most of the time mouth means teeth and seals are not afraid too use the teeth if they have too.
