One thing that I found particularly interesting is that, based on the trailer, characters in Pibby still follow certain "rules" of their universes - my main example being the incident in the trailer with the word "quiet".
Now I understand that the gunshots being on beat is because it wouldn't sound as good otherwise, but I'm also imagining that BF is physically incapable of firing off-beat due to the rhythm-based "rules" of his own world.

Just a fun little headcanon that I thought of when listening to this again today, after rewatching the trailer.

Ya'll ever realize that Oswald's fate in FNF went from being old timey, to turning into a monsterous art project, to becoming a glitch monstrosity? Poor rabbit has not had a lucky break.

One thing I loved about this is the fact that it has this classical, ominous ring to it. It's as if Oswald's living in the past, and the corruption is emphasizing it. The transformation has the place turn black and white, and the ending has that little white static dots that move around! Such a cool detail!


Not to mention at the beginning with all the gunshots, hehe. From what that sounds, Oswald may be the most vicious considering he had to have dodged all of them, and survived the last one(presumably).

(Edit) I noticed that throughout the video, there's the exact same. That's really cool and i didn't pick up on that!

A cool detail throughout these concepts is that BF is starting to hesitate less when it comes to shooting each corrupted character

Like he didnt shoot steven, he shot spongebob a few times and now he's firing pretty frequently at Oswald

I like to think of the start of the song as a sort of cinematic thing. Boyfriend and Pibby can see Oswald standing there with their back turned to them in the dark, still on the stage where Oswald auditioned for BF. BF, in hopes of finally finding another ally, calls out to Oswald. But Oswald answers back with a distorted mess of what his voice once was and turns to face BF, revealing his glitched self.

Oswald, near the end when he screamed “I’M. NOT. THAT. OLD!” took control of the corruption, making himself bigger and stronger. The corruption didn’t possess him in that moment, he possessed the corruption. Out of sheer anger.

I went back to check the normal Oswald sprites and realized that the mid-fight transformation has 5 fingers on each hand rather than his usual 4. Even in the subtlest ways, he's been completely warped by the corruption.

Hell, the implications of him actually having *eyes with pupils* are arguably more terrifying than other corruptions.

This is outside of the Oswald stuff, but whenever I see BF with the pico look alike gun. I legit just think that's Pico's gun, I feel like it'd be one of those 'parting' gifts he forces onto BF while he gives a final stance to the glitch.

I'd like to imagine just like with Pibby, it came as a shock and just out of nowhere, barely giving FNF a chance to really think of a game plan for the situation, which would lead to Pico getting caught with it and having to give a piece of himself (the gun) to BF so he'd remain protected in some form.

I expected the normal Pibby x FNF content you made when you do make Pibby x FNF content. Great original song for the characters. But this one was beyond my expectations. I did not expect a middle of the song distortion. And the fact Boyfriend actually acknowledges that this isn't a "rap your way out" situation by actually having to use the gun is a good detail. Every little detail and aspect of this was great from what I was expecting.
Anyways keep it up.

Bravo of making this Oswald song so terrifying; even Epic Mickey had darker moments sometimes. Transformed into a black and white colored monster was a unique spin to be added, but I don't know what happens during the song's end after watching it.

Also If someone makes a playable mod of this I really hope that they add the gunshot notes and makes Oswald dodge them since, assuming, that's what he did in the song

Who else is absolutely in love with each and every concept in this series of original cartoon-like characters getting pibbified so far? First we’re introduced with two characters singing against Boyfriend (Steven and Spinel), then the next song we get shown Boyfriend actually using the gun for defense (against Spongebob), and last we have the opposing character (Oswald) entering a terrifying transition. :0 this really keeps the videos entertaining and on your toes, ready to question “what’s going to happen next?” Great work so far, Jake! I can’t wait to see if you make any more, though if you don’t, that’s just as fine! :]
