Raymarine Axiom Lighthouse MFD rooting/jailbreak/SSH access demo

Using a Raymarine Axiom+ 9 unit, patched with my own SSH key. This gives you a root SSH shell, from there you can do "whatever" you want. I just enable ADB as it makes other work easier.

This is awesome, been looking for this for a long time. LS swapping my boat, and was hoping to run Holley software on both of my Raymarine Axioms for tuning. Hopefully this will still work with the new lighthouse software.

Nice work! Will the ssh key survive over the air software Lighthouse updates from Raymarine? Or do you need to recreate the .iso that Raymarine provides for every new LH update with the ssh key for every update?

Hi. I'm trying to figure out how to to this. I have some computer knowlewdge, but not what i need. Can i use CMD i windows to do this or do i need Linux. And how do i make a new SSH key. I have som apps i really would like to have on my Raymarine unit.

thanks, i d like to ask you more question, it seems axiom generate 3 or 4 network, i dont know how to mix all together to avoid to jump from one ton an other wif wifi do you think it is possible ?

Does this survive an update of lighthouse...means the new installed not signed apps?

Very Cool! I was trying to install an app of an electric engine in my axiom 7 and seems that as it is not signed by Raymarine I can't do that, I can install it if I do this modification to the software? Thank you!
