MSC Seaside Balcony 9199 Room Tour & Why I Would Not Book This Exact Room Again

This was a good room, I liked it, but it had one big flaw that made it not for me but there are ways to book around it! A full room tour of MSC Seaside's Ocean View Balcony 9199! This stateroom on the MSC Seaside and is located on deck 9 towards the middle of the ship.

For some reason this room seems to feel more homey! As far as the chair goes, I think you are an exception to the rule of most people being on vacation and not working!!! Cruise ships should have a few rooms for people that are working while cruising ❣️❣️

Looks like a nice room - I really appreciate how consistent the cabins are on MSC Cruises - there's so many cruise lines out there who have such inconsistent cabins that you never really know what to expect - not with these guys! Also, your point on paper - I wonder when MSC will go for a more environmentally-friendly approach - their marketing is really pushing the eco-friendly message, so let's match that by not printing SO MUCH paper...!!

I just got off the Seaside as well and just want to point out that those USB ports are not type C. I'm not nitpicking, I just think viewers may not want to go on this ship thinking that they are USB-C.

We stayed in 10001 and really enjoyed our cabin as well 😊

That is a nice cabin and bathroom. Not sure I’d like all the electricity to stop during the day as I usually charge something while out, but not the worst thing. I always try to get a cabin with cabins above and below, but just got off Voyager where I was directly under Windjammer and pleasantly surprised there was no early/late noise of moving chairs and tables. Thanks for sharing.

I was in Aurea balcony 9063. It was quiet! Much better experience with Aurea!

I would rather hear the music than people talking but it was a little loud! Hey, bring in one of those chairs on the balcony for the desk!

I always book a room with staterooms above and below me. I don't want to be right below the pool or the buffet, or above a restaurant, casino, or theater.

I always try to book a room on a deck between stateroom decks. Our TA booked us in a room right above the common areas for our upcoming cruise and I had to get her to correct that. 🛳️
