I have no idea how, but it appears that I uploaded the rough edit of this video. I apologise to you, the viewers, and will make sure I only upload the final drafts in the future!

Smiles per mile folks. I don't even check the mileage on my R53 lol. With everything I've done to it, she'll never see better than 20 mpg lol. Still perfectly happy with it as a daily 😏

Love my R53. Done 95k. But looks and drives like it’s done half that. Oh. My other car is a VW diesel. 😂😂

I can get 46mpg on a long boring motorway run. Put 50K miles on commuting. It’s fine up to 47mpg when I am super sensible now it has around 210bhp roughly. But yeah, around town and down the lanes it’s absolutely dire haha. 18mpg.

Forgot to say, reliability wise it’s been golden apart from radiators, I’m on my 4th one now!

All the main stuff has been refreshed now at 120K (treated myself to a refresh/upgrade rather than a new car) so should be good for many more years.

I get about 40mpg on motorway runs which are part M1 and part A1/A14 with the A57 Worksop bypass in the middle. That's not bad given roundabouts and having to stop at traffic lights. And given I do 4000 miles a year, what I get the rest of the time going shopping really doesn't matter.

I love my R53, but admittedly its strengths lie on a racetrack. On Canadian roads, it is simply too unsettled by rough pavement to be in its prime. With more ground clearance and a suspension with variable dampening, this car would be ideal. But as a low, stiff car, it suffers.

Dude. May I ask about your top engine mount, , you don’t seen to have one. Why and how . What is the mod you have regarding above your driver side front wheel ?
I only as as my circular bush has what seems to be tears init and either need poly bush upgrades, or if your mod has a specific name ? Might I get away with doing that instead? Thanks in advance 👍

I get roughly 220 miles per £50 of 99 Momentum lol. I don't like passengers at the best of times, but they moan like fuck when they have to climb in the back and then experience that ride quality haha. My non car mates ask why i didn't just get a car with 4 doors, and my reply is always asking them why they don't get a bloody taxi and stfu 🤣

R53s aren't unreliable by any means, good strong engine and box etc. They're at that age now where perishables and going to, you know, perish. Lot of people don't understand that and in 15 years time their F56 is going to be the same, assuming it lasts lol. BMW says the supercharger is a life time part and don't actually suggest servicing it, Eaton themselves haven't quite decided either. I just got mine done at 74k and the sound is noticeably different so i definitely wouldn't suggest waiting til 100k. That's on a facelift teflon coated one too.

It sort of suits me as a daily, though if i were even the slightest bit sociable or had kids etc i definitely would get a second car
