Bangladesh Violence: 'I will not join politics, my family is done', says Hasina's son Sajeeb Wazed

Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son and former official adviser of Bangladesh's ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said in an interview on Monday that she will not enter politics again. He asserted that on her family's insistence, she left the country for her own safety.

I am a Bangladeshi origin British citizen. I always supported the students protest since it began. I wanted justice for killing so many people. I was glad than Hasina accepted all their demands and calling UN expert to help with the massacre
Until Sunday evening the whole protest was about 9 points demand and thousand of people all corner of the country came out and showed support to 9 points demand and that didn’t include Hasina’s resignation
In the evening that all sudden demanded Hasina’s resignation and I doubt people were not ready for that
Now I look back and realise actually student protest was a shield putting innocent children front of the rally and culprits were behind all of these
It was actually a well orchestrated attempt to topple Hasina
Today when DR Yunus got nominated as head of the government, it became clear now the whole saga had been created to bring DR Younus to power
Sadly so many lives lost. This is all staged by external force who wanted topple Hasina so many times
This time they succeeded. She has done so much for her country I am sure people of Bangladesh will realise soon
She turned the country from poorest country to developing country

When I visited Bangladesh I saw with my own eyes how the whole country has been changed positively

She had put her name on history. She will be remembered for founder of modern Bangladesh
