Although I'm from Split I'd totally recommend Rovinj, it's just breathtaking, small yet charming town in Istra. Croatian coastline also counts as Mediterranean so that's why we have excellent seafood dishes. And we have great olive oil and prosciutto. But also continental part of Croatia is also worth of visiting. Such a small country with a lot of things to see and explore. The architecture is different than costal one. Food also.

I visited Croatia 2 years ago. Such a beautiful country. One of my favorite places was Dubrovnik. Plitvich(edit: im not sure how it is written) was such a beautiful natural park. And Makarska such a peacful and stunning beach destination. It is a country that I know I will visit again

Just went to Dubrovnik in November!! Beautiful and peaceful. Stayed in Old Town !! I recomend taking a gf or wife or fiance, its super romantic at night! Took the bus to Spilt then flew to Zagrieb to catch a plane home . I wanna go back in the summer! I give it 5 stars out of 5 :)
