We drive General Motor's attempt to make a PT Cruiser, the Chevy HHR. It's really a Cobalt jacked-up

I had a 2010 HHR. It was the only thing I could get with my credit score. The only positive I can say about it is, that it help improve my score for a better vehicle.

"I'm aware there's an HHR SS, but we're not gonna talk about that right now."

*talks about suburbans in WWII*

The PT Cruiser's older brother who dropped out after losing his football scholarship and moved back in with his parents to work at the same Walmart he did in high school.

I had a 2008 fully loaded hhr for a daily. UGLY as sin....but rode great and those heated seats burned your balls off. Did everything i needed it to do and you could load whatever you wanted in the back of it with the seats folded down. Loved that car.

My family and I rented one of these on a family vacation. My family isn't a bunch car enthusiasts, and even my parents said they couldn't stand this car. That was saying something.

The extreme low visibility doesn't help.

Mr. Regular, I love all of the super close-up pictures of random, irrelevant, dirty, rusty parts of the car that you're reviewing.

looks like a fake version of a pt cruiser in a gta game

Reviewing this car automatically means you have to review the SSR now

My daughter was conceived in the back of one of these.

My grandma had one until someone merged into her and totaled it.
My dad bought it, rebuilt it, lowered it and daily drove it for 14 years.
Today he bought a used vw golf, passing the HHR onto me.
I grew up in this car and I’m glad to continue its legacy for hundreds of thousands of miles to come.

We had the 2.2 5 speed manual version (see profile pic, and video) and put almost 100k on it with a trailer in tow almost constantly (it had no tow rating for the manual versions). Fold the seats and it was like having a smaller mini van (mini, mini van?). This thing could move 1000 pounds and park anywhere. Get 27mpg and bark the tires in second. The SS didn't come out until after we moved to wyoming and needed something to clear the snow. I still look for one today since we are back in houston. For a compact vehicle it did it's job well.

they never sold this over here in the UK and honestly it's the kinda car that would have sold well here.

One of the deeper and more thoughtful RCR videos I've watched in a while. Reminds me of why I love this channel.
