Man, I'd forgotten how much fun it was to watch this guy pitch. Good times.

To paraphrase Bob Ueker: “The best way to catch a knuckleball is to wait for it to stop rolling around and then pick it up.” 😂

Who is here after reading/listening to Adam Grant's latest book, "Hidden Potential", in which one chapter talked about Dickey's long struggle before finding success?

The best baseball vids to watch, in all history, are the ones of RA Dickey during his last year and a half with the Mets. Watching batter after batter after batter flail helplessly at pitches that don’t follow a trajectory, but instead orbit that trajectory, just brings immense joy. Especially knowing the humble demeanor and gratitude of Dickey himself while this was occurring.

Forgot about this! RA split the nail on his middle finger the morning he was pitching the night game. Solution? Korean nail salon on Hillside Ave in Queens. She hooked him UP.

I loved my Dickey. ❤❤❤❤ That time against the Yankees? Ball got a little away from him, almost beaned A-Rod. He went down on his ass, Dickey threw his hands up like, OH NO! And ya know what? A-Rod laughed. He knew RA was crazy, but he'd never deliberately throw at anyone.
