Sanjay Raut On Rahul Gandhi's Remark On Savarkar, Says, 'Comment Can Result In Cracks Within MVA'

Shiv Sena reiterated its unhappiness with Rahul Gandhi's comments on Hindutva ideologue Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, which led to a commotion in Maharashtra and cast doubt on the future of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance in the state. Sanjay Raut, the chief spokesperson for the Shiv Sena stated at a press conference on Friday that what Rahul Gandhi said about Veer Savarkar would produce cracks in the MVA alliances. According to Raut, the Shiv Sena would continue to regard Savarkar as a hero. "We adore, admire, and have a great deal of faith in Savarkar, as our party's leader Uddhav Thackeray made clear yesterday. Consequently, we disagree with Rahul Gandhi's opinions "he said.
