Chevy Cruze Front Door Speaker Install disassembly installation speakers

Installation of the front speakers on the Chevy Cruze . The disassembly of the door is pretty straight forward as seen in this video.

You will need a bracket to install a new speaker. If ordered from crutchfield they are free.

Thanks Dude! I can't believe the Chevy dealership wanted over $100 for labor to do this. I replaced mine in less than 20 minutes - including time watching this video. (I also saved @ 35% on the cost of the speaker by ordering it myself).

Do you know what speaker come stock? Also how do you tell if your speakers are blown? my speakers are still loud and deep but they have a cracky sound when people talk on the radio, any thoughts?

Update:
Everything worked, just like you said, except when I tried to pull out the electrical for the window switch. The whole back of the unit came off with it. No worries, though, as it all snapped back together just fine. Thanks again.

Did you just cut the old oem clip out and use electric tape to connect the positive and negative??

Do you know what bracket came with your purchase from Crutchfield? Normally i would buy it from Crutch to get the bracket with it, but its out of stock and I need it b4 its back in stock on crutch. So I'm buying from Amazon

Yo did you notice a difference between stocks? I'm thinking about swapping stocks out but if it's not noticeable difference Im thinking just adding amp... I already have 1kicker 12 with a 400 watt amp. Im running my stock head unit also. What do you think?

So I'm kinda disappointed by the system in mine, I also have a 2014 cruze but it has the stock radio that doesnt have bluetooth music. Also, the aux port is much quieter than the radio. I dont know if i should get an aux booster or replace the system, or how i should go about it. I have heard some videos about double din's but I'm not too keen on that stuff. What did you do to upgrade your system?
