Well for me I don't care if I'm ultimately paying more at the end of the day when you combine the total because I don't have it sometimes all in one so I don't mind that it comes out to spending more in the long run than just paying it in full

for those asking how are you paying more, its more that your buying something way more expensive than you may otherwise be. I was at a store today trying to furnish my first apartment. I wanted a couch under 1000 dollars. However the store advertised everything it sold by how much you pay per month. 60 dollars/a month doesn't sound like a lot. but it was for 60 months. I can't afford a 3600 dollar couch, but if some people might say its only 60 dollars a month, but realistically they should have went with a cheaper option. This might not apply to his example, he was going to buy the shoes before he knew about the financing. but if you already have the money, why finance? At the end of the day I think its dangerous to buy things and put it on monthly payments, especially if you do this with multiple things and your payments stack on top of each other. There are times it makes sense, but stores don't care whats best for you they just want money.

Wrong! PayPal draws the money from your bank account so there’s never a late fee

Not everyone can afford to put 500$ or 1500$ instantly to buy something they really want paying little bit extra wont hurt when your paying in small amounts it better than waiting 5 months to save up to buy it out full with cash then something happens in your life then you wish you had that cash you spent in full for something expensive doing monthly payments makes sure you can afford everything and keep your life stable so its a WIN WIN situation

Your not paying more Frfr other then interest if you can afford 1000 and they only want 100 interest and they brake the payment down to 5-6 months 20 month depending on what you buy it could be worth it have a game plan to pay your debt in time is key

Hypothetically what happens if you don't pay on time asking for a friend

You're not paying more the product, but you spend more (you buy more stuff)
