Eddie Murphy returns as Axel Foley in Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, the new franchise film coming to Netflix on July 3. He's joined by some familiar faces, including both John Ashton and Judge Reinhold.
In the new movie, Ashton and Reinhold reprise their respective roles as John Taggart and Billy Rosewood, the Beverly Hills Police Department officers Axel met in the previous films. In a new interview with CBR's Kevin Polowy, the two actors commented on returning to the franchise and the enduring appeal of Beverly Hills Cop. Ashton admitted that it bothered him at first to have fans recognizing him for the role, but he came to see it as an "honor."
