Its great to see you covering the broad price range, people who start on cheapies often go on to buy up market ebikes after discovering how great ebikes are. Thanks Micah Toll

Thanks in part to this video I bought this ebike a month ago and use it to bike to work. I love it. I added lights, fenders, a horn, and a new seat, and I removed the worthless kickstand. I agree the 21 gears are silly. It should only have its biggest chain ring. In fact it could benefit from a bigger chain ring than any of the three it comes with. But the power it gives is tremendous for a street bike. I mostly use the throttle, which works instantly.

I put bmx handle bars on my Cybertrack 100 and it looks awesome. It's now basically a 26" bmx ebike.

The 21 speeds make perfect sense. One can ride more confidently, not worrying about running out of battery power, because you'll have the gearing to get you back home!! Genius!!

This is the E-Bike I like, an electric bike that looks like a normal bike as well

Cheaper than onewheel and more practical. Looks like a great buy tbh, definitely considering it

Thanks! Great review for a possible entry level ebike.

On every upright e-bike I previously built with a mid drive or hub motor, I never missed front gears and 2:1 ratio was enough.
Yet with my electric Cruzbike T50 frame-set that I built up, I love the 3.6:1 range of the Nuvinci hub because it extends my eco range.

I just got the Aventon SINCH I'm REALLY IMPRESSED with quality and customer service. My bike arrived with a bent derailleur hanger in shipping. They shipped the bike with an extra part in case that happened and even paid for the bike shop repair same usually eBike companies will leave you high and dry but not Aventon. and with affirm it only cost me 130$ a month

As a commuter, I have this bike and I would recommend it if you are on a budget. Everything said in this video pretty much describes the bike accurately.

If you need a bike simply to get where you need to go this will do fine.

I just bought this ebike and I’m so excited I like the look of non fancy designs better than some crazy electric bike look. Great video!

I have had this bike for 2 years know it was my first ebike and I dont regret buying it. For the money it's a great place to find out if you are really into ebikes. I dont ride alot I only have 400 miles in 2 years but I have had no issues with mine we take it camping and I like how lite the bike is we can throw it any where being only 46lbs. I am know ready to move up to a full suspension ebike with bigger motor and battery. The only thing is all the ones I like are so heavy and big unless you get some really expensive mtb but I dont want to spend over $2500 on one. Anyone have any suggestions on a nice affordable full suspension ebike that only weighs like 50lbs or so? Thanks

I think the extra gears are to give us some slack should we ever drain our battery mid-ride.

We're still on the cusp of inexperienced riders thinking more chain rings up front is better and remnants of volume production of past years - and since single chain rings are perceived as more "high end", those sets cost more (even though ironically, it's much simpler). Until reality and volume production sets in for the 1x sets, I think the 3x sets up front will remain on the cheapest bikes. It's very frustrating. No one ever really needed 21 or 24 speeds (if the front and rear gear ratios were setup correctly) and the inherent simplicity lost is just maddening. Even my last analog bike in the $800 range still had a 3x setup in 2020.

Great video just wish you spoke for tall guys like myself. Is it good for a 6 ft tall?

Couldn't they have saved on the gearing and upped the motor at least an extra 150w?

Is the power sufficient to really get up hills without working really hard

Looks like the perfect bike for me. I don't have the strength and stamina of a young person anymore. I want something to supplement my old legs.

Glad to see a working class ebike. There's plenty of buzz about the spendier varieties, but the sub 1k will make ebikes ubiquitous.
