Interesting note about It’s A Wonderful Life, this was James Stewart’s first film role after his military service in WWII, and he wasn’t sure he was exactly up for the part because of what he saw fighting over in Europe.

The Home Alone church scene is wonderful, such a powerful scene, the best thing in the whole movie.

Arthur Christmas is one of the most underrated Christmas movies ever. It gives a unique look into the Santa mythos, and it shows the conflict of multiple generations of the Claus family fighting over the right way to be Santa.

The fact that how the grinch stole Christmas (2000) version wasn’t even mentioned here is absolutely ridiculous but I agree with most picks anyway so I can’t be too mad great job as always watchmojo

My favorite is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation….Clark watching the film reel of his early childhood to Ray Charles singing The Spirit of Christmas brings back so much nostalgia.

Glad to see Jingle All The Way get a little love. I think The Santa Clause should have been at least an honorable mention too.

Fun fact. Jingle all the way was filmed at that huge mall in Minnesota. We were there during the summer and couldn’t figure out why the mall was decorated for Christmas. We finally figured it out and were watching over the scene in the plastic ball pit. It was super cool to watch.

Jingle all the way will always be my favorite. I watch it every year without fail. This year I’m watching it on Christmas Eve with hot chocolate and cookie crumble popcorn and I’m soooo looking forward to it
