always feels like i'm the only one who cares about all these shows in all of the world in, quoting jk, "sophisticated" way, not that a tv series is rocket science, it's still entertainment, but it's nice that what I love to spend a majority of my time on is constantly trying to elevate bit by bit from what was always great, tv or cinema.

yep you just said it, cinema as tom cruise coined it, just like music and other art form, escapism, for all the lost souls, may not really inspire real character or identity or bring true peace, as it don't matter if you are somebody or nobody it's just entertainment, but again, like dr robert ford in wws1, people do always love a good story for some sort of food for the soul
