“Some people are critical of Tony not addressing the situation.” Luke mate, the call is coming from inside the building, that was Laurie and Oli, on the news.

You two really represent the two sides of AEWs future in this video. Luke as the All (Friends) Elite Wrestling future where it doesn't really grow but continues being a good to great pro wrestling show and Oli the growing business that needs bigger mainstream stars...

Makes for great viewing thanks lads

I went back and rewatched the Moxley segment. If I recall correctly, the statement was that Moxley is a 3 time world champion, which is correct (2x AEW + 1x WWE), not that he was 3x AEW champion. Because when they were talking about Danielson and Jericho, they were mentioned as multi time champions, almost all of them won outside AEW...

I love Oli, I really do. But man he has been so over the top negative lately and it's really getting annoying. Luke is literally trying to explain things to him and his answer consistently is "yeah well I didn't like it". I hope he tones it back a bit. Luke yelling at him is literally giving me life.

I had the impression that the moment Tony Khan came up he was booed but also that the moment he said the World Title was vacated the crowd actually reacted with cheers and they stopped booing Tony and just listened. I don't know if that's the exact reaction the crowd had but it felt that way. Like people were mad at Tony not for the MJF storyline, but for everything that happened, probably for sitting next to Punk as he went crazy. I also think most people who can be objective about this situation are aware there's no good guy in this, they all screwed up, somebody screwed up first, somebody screwed up later in return, they all screwed up in the end and so the actual best solution was for everybody to be punished. In that sense, I think Tony might actually have been very lucky that Punk was legitimetely injured again. Probably made it much easier to punish him despite having been a big draw recently, in Khan's own words, to know he couldn't feature him either way for maybe up to 8 months. Also gives him a lot of time to try and smooth the situation over between the parties involved.

I don't know why but "it was ruff" made me laugh so hard.

Westside Gunn finally getting the love he deserves for being the biggest wrestling fan that’s a celebrity made me so happy. I completely marked out when he started preforming.

Jericho referenced it with the "this is my effin' locker room!" I felt that. He was also supposed to have time off, too.

Punk was probably just pissed that MJF got a giant pop in Punk's hometown, so he went into business for himself in the post event scrum so that all the news can be on Punk and not on MJF's iconic return.

The guy that stole the title from a steakhouse held it longer than Punk did across two reigns

Thank you Luke, noticing what the focus is ... it's clean up time and Oli don't like the clean up segments 🤷🏾‍♂️

The elite and punk arguing over who's locker room leader, Mox putting the company back on his shoulders AGAIN

Isn't it strange that people were legit crying that CM Punk came back to wrestling and is now wanting him to leave wrestling for good? Great show AEW and Tony Khan I really didn't know how you were going to pull this off but you got the best outcome out of a horrible situation.

The craziest thing is the only viable challengers for the AEW title are former WWE stars. That's because Khan isnt a good booker. It would be stupid to have someone like Bryan Danielson win the title and not have a good long title reign. MJF needs to be built up. Dude can talk, but he never wrestles. You can probably count on 2 hands the number of matches MJF has had this year.

That "do we think the Queen riding off into the sunset is also a work?" from Dan at the end just cracked me up.

So glad Oli and Luke are back to review this show... it was dark times (minus when Luke joined in that one week).

I loved how Luke called out Oli on the new faction and then taking a sip 🤣🤣 I thought I was the only one noticing that Oli's been really "bitchy" about everything lately.
