If you are F2P, I highly recommend spending gems on the Obsidian chests over both the S tier chests. The chances of getting the S tier piece you want and duplicates to fully upgrade it will be near impossible without $$$. You will get much further early on by just upgrading regular items.

This is how I understand it, the sets are upgraded versions of existing sets that can be got from regular play like the destruction set, the difference is that they have overall higher stats and gain the ability when just being purple, like the bow if u have the dragon crossbow it will give u plus 200+ blast damage while being a purple rarity where as the regular bow only gains that stat when being yellow rarity, the s tier variants are much better than the regular version of weapons if u like the bow that the cross bow will better for u if u like the staff the Oracle staff will be what u want, from what I can gather there both on the same level for most things but the cross does more damage, as for the armour sets the orecal set is the the best, there are some from other sets are viable but orecal is the best

I don't know if this works on iphone but if you use android you don't need to take a screenshot. Hold the android's bottom center button for a few seconds and a translate button will pop up.

What about spending gems for energy? I replay the last stage i beat usually getting all 50 waves that gets me 2 gear and 2 runes. 100 for 20 energy 8 gears and 8 runes. 4000 gems is 320 gears and 320 runes. Plus all the scrolls and gold etc. Is that not better or is my math off?

clan coins are very useful for buying runes, i saw someone in the comment advised to donate all 5 times per day to buy runes because runes are hard to find and he said that in late game when your gear are almost full you gotta grind for runes for better power strength... SO the question is donating all 5 times a day worth it or not?

If the set that we want comes around in the cycle, is there any reason to wait? When I played archero 1 I would always wait until I have enough for a x10 opening then do it... so in this case my plan would be when dragon set comes around and I have enough for a x10 opening then I'll do it... but is there anything else I should be aware of to wait for?
