I still remember this game being completely overshadowed by God of War 3 a few months after the release at the beginning of April 2010. Nevertheless, it left a lasting legacy in me I can't leave unnoticed. Dante's Inferno gave me the motivation to appreciate the original text of the Divine Comedy (not just Inferno, but also Purgatorio and Paradiso) and even learn three cantos of the Inferno by heart at the age of 16. So much for videogames making us dumber, this one led to me spending hours and hours of reading commentaries and watching documentaries about one of the greatest literary works in written history.
