Ever wanted to get a wireless charger, but then decided that having a pad sitting on top of your desk was just as lame as plugging it in every time? Well in this video I show how to completely hide your wireless charger from view.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but removing the internals from the plastic housing of the is really easy and will let you get extra eighths of space. It will help. I opened a qi charger and found a decent amount dead space in between the coil and the plastic as well as the plastic itself adding distance. You can put the internals in an anti-static bag as it's new "housing". I don't think the heat will be an issue, but it can all be safely tested prior.

Very cool. Have you looked into doing something similar for the car? I have seen some decent solutions that combine Qi with magnets to keep the phone in place on rough road or from general usage/tapping.

Hey! So I am wanting to put a wireless charger in my car (sort of embed it in a shelf thing I have in there) what would you recommend? Do you think that it would charge from a cigarette lighter or would I have to hard wire something like that?
