I like how Dr. Shirley sarcastically tells him to be a food critic when Tony proceeds to give a critique of what makes a good food, without all the fancy words, of course.

Viggo is the best Italian I've seen in a long time. That can't be an easy achievement for a Danish guy!

i like how dr shirley cracks the tiniest smile at the end of this clip.. you can tell he didn't think much of tony at first, but he slowly realizes that, even though he acts oafishly a lot, tony is a genuine person with a decent heart. it's probably the first time Dr Shirley has ever really bothered to get to know someone like tony.. and even though he's baffled often by tony's behavior, he's also amused at times. Dr Shirly may come off as arrogant, and maybe he WAS quite arrogant to begin with, but you could see that arrogance softening throughout the film as he becomes friendlier with Tony. i for one loved this friendship.. and yes, both of their acting was top notch

1:03 at that brief moment, you can see Dr. Shirley kind of admiring Tony's quick witted answer even though he does not know the real answer. That is the thing with Italians, I don't know but whole Italian genes got quick wits reasoning and their sarcasm is so sharp but has comedic elements in it, making you unable to retaliate haha

Mahershala Ali is a genius actor! The tiny details in his facial expressions and voice notes are outstanding! He perfectly played the role in this movie. Viggo was superb too.

Mr. Mortensen was amazing in this movie. I loved his acting, so real. Mehesarala Ali also gave a great performance. I loved this movie as a whole.

If no one told me the plot of this movie, I would've thought it's just two dudes traveling and eating because there's a lot of eating scenes in this movie.

What is great about the scene is that at this point both underestimate, and look down on, the other. They have yet to see the true person they are with.
